Ian Fraser
Technical Director of Technical Civils Solutions LtdIan is a geotechnical engineer with close to 40 years of industry experience in geotechnical consultancy, specialist geotechnical contracting and geosynthetics system design, supply and construction.
Ian has always been concerned with the responsible promotion and regulation of geosynthetics and associated geotechnical systems via his active involvement with a range of industry organisations and committees including the BSI (Current Chair of B553 – Geosynthetics), CEN TC189, ISO TC221 and the International Geosynthetics Society (Past Treasurer & Officer).
Ian is passionate about the significant sustainable benefits that geosynthetics offer in the fields of civil engineering, waste management and landscaping and has devoted much of his time in recent years to raising awareness of those benefits.
