Our Technical Learning Theatre will serve as a dynamic space for interactive and engaging technical training sessions, enabling delegates to develop and enhance their knowledge and stay at the forefront of industry trends whilst earning CPD credits.

Getting the balance right

Ensuring accessibility for public sector delegates and fostering meaningful engagement between public and private sector sits at the heart of what we do. To achieve this, we offer fully funded places for public sector delegates, covering accommodation, transport to and from the hotel to the venue, catering and refreshments. This initiative is made possible through the revenue generated from sponsorship and exhibitor sales.

Additionally, we support public sector professionals by CPD-accrediting our events, further facilitating their attendance.

Beyond this, we strike the right balance of representation from across the sector by limiting delegate capacity and getting the right ratio of public and private sector delegates, enhancing the quality of interaction and enriching the overall event experience for all attendees.

The LCRIG Innovation Festival 2023 was a resounding success, attracting over 600 attendees across the two days. With 230 public sector delegates and representation from 80 different local highway authorities, the event provided a platform for collaboration and knowledge exchange.

Featuring a showcase of products and solutions from 100 exhibitors, attendees gained invaluable insights into the latest innovations driving the highways sector forward. The engaging program included 6 discussion sessions and a number of live demonstrations, offering a comprehensive look into the future of highway technology.

With an overwhelming 97% of the respondents to last year's post event survey recommending the Festival to their colleagues and 98% expressing their intention to return, the LCRIG Innovation & Learning Festival is a must-attend event for anyone passionate about shaping the highways of tomorrow.
